Wyndham Vale is a suburb in Melbourne, 36 km south-west of the CBD. The suburb is home to a number of residential estates including Manor Lakes, Bluestone Green and Wyndham Green. Wyndham Vale is know as Mad Max country with many scenes for the movie being shot around the local area. There are a number of creeks running through the area including Lollipop and Cherry creeks.

There are several, well established primary schools in Wyndham Vale. A new P-12 College, Manor Lakes P-12/Specialist College was built in 2009 in the Manor Lakes estate. A new Catholic College is also due to be built. Manor Lakes is approximately 750 hectares in size and will eventually house 25,000 residents.
